This ambitious retrofit aims for the Passivhaus EnerPHit standard to create a super comfortable, energy-efficient long term home for its owner.

The project includes a modest rear extension and uses super low energy materials, to include a timber i-joist frame filled with recycled newspaper, timber cladding and a light-weight metal roof.

Internally we have an exposed vaulted ceiling structure, a triple glazed rooflight at high level and warm natural finishes throughout.
