The designs for Oldham Eco Village have evolved through a series of collaborative workshops with a wide range of stakeholders. This was facilitated in collaboration with GM CLH Hub and included local charities, community groups and residents feeding into the layout of the scheme.

The scheme has been designed about shared landscaping areas to be self managed by the residents and the homes have been modeled so they have the potential to achieve the Passivhaus standard.
